Liwliwa is approximately 3 hours from Manila by car via the TPLEX and SCTEX expressways. Public buses run from Manila to San Felipe, Zambales, and from there a tricycle ride takes you to Sitio Liwliwa in about 15 minutes.
The dry season from November to May offers the best weather. Surf season peaks from November to March with more consistent swells. The off-season months of June to October are quieter but may experience rain.
